The ideal program to see the best of Salar de Uyuni in the shortest possible time, this will ensure that you will not miss any attraction. It is a very adventurous tour that will allow you to know the great salt in its extremities, as well as taste the rich local food and admire the beautiful scenery both day and night that surrounds this beautiful natural formation.
The tour begins in the Salar de Uyuni with visits to the following places: Train cemetery, population of Colchani where you can observe and buy handicrafts of salt and typical fabrics. Entrance to the largest Salar in the world, Salt Mounds, Salt Water Eyes, old Sal Hotel (museum). Visit Inka Wasi Island, walk through the Cactus Valley, after having lunch outdoors. After a walk we will arrive at the Salt Hostel of the town of Agua Quisa, where the accommodation will be shared, we will enjoy a rich dinner and a well-deserved rest.
After an energy-rich breakfast at approximately 6:00 am, we will begin that day with a panoramic view of the high plateau of Lípez and a visit to the Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint. We will also visit the Lagunas: Kañapa, Hedionda, where we will have a lunch in the air Free. Enjoying the scenery, we will also visit Ch’iar Quta where our main activity will be the observation of fauna. We will continue to the Desert of Siloli – Stone tree that is an eroded rocky formation, after that visit we will enter the National Reserve of Andean Fauna “Eduardo Avaróa” REA where we will go to the viewpoint of Laguna Colorada, to finally arrive at Huaylla Rockrose.
At our shared accommodation, we will taste a rich dinner and a restful night.
Early in the morning (05:30 am) we will start the tour with a visit to the geysers, fumaroles and craters of boiling mud, then head to the hot springs where we will have a rich breakfast. Continuing our journey, we will enjoy a view of The Laguna Verde, and Likankaur Volcano, then return to Uyuni for Laguna Colorada, Villa Mar, Rocas Valley, Alota, making a small stop in the model village of Kulpina, where we will visit the Colonial Church of the restored town of San Cristóbal.
Finally we will arrive to Uyuni at 5:00 p.m. where our journey concludes.
