Visit the peninsula of Capachica, specifically the community of Llachón, where you will be welcomed by the locals who will provide you with comfortable accommodation in the locality, as well as enjoy the rich local food and participate in the customs practiced in that community. To reach this community, we will visit the floating islands of the Uros, a guided tour of approximately one hour and also visit the island of Amantani famous for its archaeological complex Pachatata, a mystical place of ceremony and meditation.
8:00 am, transfer from the hotel to the port. After sailing for 30 minutes we will arrive at the Floating Islands Uros, a very old original community, made up of a group of more than 40 islands which were built with reeds of totora by the same inhabitants.
Here we have a guided tour of approximately 1 hour (optional tour in typical boats of Totora). We continue our trip in the same boat until arriving at Amantani Island, where we will receive a warm welcome from the families of the community. Accommodation in the houses of the island’s inhabitants. In the afternoon after the traditional lunch we have a walk to the ritual center of Pachatata. Here you can watch the sunset and admire the landscape of the place. After dinner with the family you have a small meeting in the local community where they will dance and share the culture of their families.
Farewell breakfast with the family, at 8:00 am we depart to the COMMUNITY OF Llachon (peninsula of Capachica). After sailing 30 minutes we will arrive in Llachon; receiving a welcome from the residents of the community. We will then take a short walk to the viewpoint where we will enjoy lunch at local restaurant and watch a demonstration of ancient craftsmanship.
