Discover Ticonata, the jewel of Titicaca, a new tourist destination. Rest in the comfortable accommodations that the settlers of this part of the Lake have specially prepared for tourists, conical rooms and rich local food. But not before visiting the famous floating islands of the Uros, to know the curious way of life of its inhabitants. We will finish the tour with a visit to the island of Amantani where we will visit the archaeological complex of Pachatata, a ceremonial and mystical place for the inhabitants of the islands. Afterwards we will return to the city of Puno.
At the indicated time we will pick you up from your hotel and travel for 30 minutes by boat until to the floating islands of the Uros. The visit time is about an hour, where we will have a small demonstration of how the island is built, the main economic activities carried out by its inhabitants, and we will even have the option of taking a short voyage on the traditional boats. We will continue our trip to the peninsula of Capachica, specifically to the community of Ticonata where we will be received by the villagers. We will enjoy a delicious lunch and stay in the conical houses of the locals, which is suitable for the attention of tourists. We will enjoy a walk around the peninsula and later in the night and be participants of a bonfire and dinner in the community.
Early in the morning after breakfast, we will leave for Amantani Island. After approximately two and a half hours of travel, we will arrive at the island, visit the main community and also a mystical archaeological complex that is in the highest part of the Island, then taste a delicious lunch in one of the local houses before returning to Puno, where we will arrive at approximately 15:30.
